Your Category rank will only be considered in our home state only & for the other state you will be considered as a general category student,so I suggest you to check last year OBC Category closing rank in your home state as well as General Category rank in

Jec and jist are the prominent Engineering colleges in assam. 

To be able to qualify for that the minimum Mark's required for a student is dependent upon categories.

It would have been helpful, if you have mentioned your category but I'll give you the three categories cutoff marks.

The cutoff of Assam CEE 2018 is the minimum score below which no one  will be considered for admission. Assam CEE students  must also keep in mind that  meeting the cutoff is no guarantee of admission, as there are other admission formalities to be completed, incuding verification
