    I have got 72 in cee 2019 exam and my rank is 2789.but my rank no. is not included in any of the counselling date. Why..

    As you have secured 72marks (2789 rank) in CEE Assam 2019  which in itself is not pretty much good enough to get any college under CEE Assam.
    So, you hardly have any chance to get admission under various govt college in Assam.
    So, that's the reason why your rank is not involved in the counseling process.
    But, you can try for other institute participating in CEE
    I'll advice you to keep an eye on the counseling process since there might be some vacancies left and which you can utilise well.

    Hi , my marks is 93 and rank 1837 (Gen). I didnt get chance in first counselling. Can i get atleast BVEC in 2nd counselling?

    As you have secured 93 marks (1837 rank) so ofcurse it's quite difficult for you to make it to top engineering college under CEE Assam.
    However, you might get a seat in other colleges under CEE.
    But, literally your chances are a bit low.
    But, I would advice you to go with the 2ns counselling process and look for the college which suits you best according to your rank.

    My rank is 682, Gen category. Is there any chance to get into AEC? Also I didnt attempt any maths Qs only phy and chem,will it affect?

    As you have secured 682  rank(general category) so definitely you have an opportunity to get admission in AEC. But your chances are a bit low.
    As may I inform you that there is not subject wise cutoff in the CEE exam,  so it doesn't matter that how much have you scored in a particular subject.

    With 750 rank (gen category)can I get into aec.

    As you have secured 750 rank(general category) you will be able to get  into AEC.
    But, of course wouldn't be able to get the best branches there.
    As you may be knowing that AEC is one of the best college under CEE Assam,. So usually there is a huge competition to get in there and only rankers get that chance.
    But, you still have some chances to secure a seat in AEC.

    ASTU has declared the rank card of Assam CEE 2019. Students can check their result and rank card to know their admission probabilities. Candidates who has appeared for entrance exam will have to meet the Assam CEE 2019 cutoff determined by the authority in order to take admission in course. The cutoff of Assam CEE 2019 will be the minimum marks that candidates will require for admission into its participating institutes.                  As compared to last few years' cut off, you're standing at the border right now. Definitely there are chances. It's also possible that you'll not get any engineering colleges through Assam CEE. However, you can apply to Bineswar Brahma Engineering College and Jorhat Institute of Science & Technology. You may get a seat in first one.

    Hi Koushick,

    Assam Combined Entrance Examination is held as a combined exam for candidates who are interested in Bachelor courses/degrees in Engineering.

    It is held at the state level and you have to apply for it in online mode.

    This exam is based on the syllabus of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC).

    The important dates regarding ACEE, 2020 are as follows-

    • Opening date of Application form- 1st week of March 2020
    • Closing date of Application form- 3rd week of March 2020
    • Issue of admit cards- 3rd week of April 2020
    • Exam date- Last week of April 2020
    • The result- 2nd week of May 2020

    Hope you are doing well!! First of all congratulations on securing a good rank in CEE exam. With that rank you will definitely get a seat in government colleges under CEE. There is little chances for you to get Assam Engineering college (AEC) as it is counted on top colleges under CEE but you may not get desired branch in AEC, rather than that you can get Jorhat engineering college (JEC) or Jorhat institute of science and technology (JIST) there you will be having more branch option and you can get your preferable branch.     Hope you are doing well!! See your rank is good but not that good to get you into Assam Engineering college (AEC). You can have little hope to get into AEC as you belong to SC category. If you get AEC you will not be having more branch option. Rather than that you can get more branch option in Jorhat Engineering college (JEC). Hope these will help you.
