No , B.Sc Chemistry graduates are not eligible for AP PGECET .

The eligibility criteria for AP PGECET are as follows :

• Age limit: Min 21 years old
• Educational Qualification : Should have done B,E/ B.Tech in relevant field with min 50% marks [  candidates with valid GATE score will be given separate preference]
• Nationality and Domicile : Should be Indian and must be domicile of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana

Yes you can apply for master of Arts English after appearing and qualifying Andhra Pradesh postgraduate common entrance test. Along with English you can also apply for English and language and literature subject through Andhra Pradesh postgraduate common entrance test. The entrance examination pattern is mentioned below:

• There will be hundred questions asked in the entrance test of 100 marks
• All the questions will be in the format of multiple choice questions
• There will be a 90 minutes duration

AP PGECET will be conducted as a computer-based online exam for 2 hours. Each paper consists of 120 multiple choice questions.

It is conducted in two sittings per day.

Marking scheme-

You will get +1 for each correct and and there is no negative marking.

You have to score more than minimum qualification marks to be able to qualify the AP PGECET examination.

The eligibility criteria to apply for AP PGECET Entrance is that a candidate must have passed B.E/B.Tech/ B.Pharm wih minimum 50% aggregate if the candidate belongs to general category and 45% aggregate marks if the candidate belongs to reserved category. The minimum education qualification requirement is based on undergraduate level course rather postgraduate level course. If you have passed B Tech/B.E you can apply for admission to M.E/M.Tech course. Of you have passed B.Pharm you can apply for M.Pharm/Pharm D (PB).
