Last date to submit the form with Rs 2000 late fee is September 23, 2020. Andhra University AU, Visakhapatnam, will conduct AP Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) 2020 on September 28, 2020, to September 30, 2020. Candidates having Bachelor qualifying degree or its equivalent relevant field with at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from AICTE/UGC approved institution can apply for AP PGECET 2020. Candidates can apply online on sche.ap.gov.in with Application Fee of Rs 1000/- (OC/BC) and Rs 500/- (SC/ST).

AP PGECET 2020 Application forms has been extended till September 23, 2020, with a late fee of Rs 2000.Earlier, APSCHE hadopened AP PGECET 2020 form correction window for category 2 on July 10, 2020. Candidates couldedit forms till July 13, 2020.AP PGECET 2020 will be conducted from September 28 30, 2020.Applications were releasedon March09, 2020 at sche.ap.gov.in/pgecet. Indian citizens,satisfying local/non-local status requirements will beeligible to apply for the exam.

10 ^th standard or SSC hall ticket number

10 ^th standard or SSC certificate

Income certificate of Parents issued by MRO or Competent Authority (if applicable)

Caste certificate issued by a competent authority (if applicable)

So, yes you may be eligible to secure a seat in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada in order to pursue food technology. As per the  notification available on the official site of AP PGECET GATE/GPAT qualified and eligible candidates have been informed to register through online from 04/11/2020 to 08/11/2020 to participate in the counselling for admission into M.Tech/M.Pharm./Pharm.D (PB) courses in University and affiliated private Engineering/Pharmacy colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The registration fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs.300/- and for others Rs.600/-. The qualified and eligible registered candidates of GATE/GPAT and APPGECET2020 can attend web counselling for admission into M.Tech./M.Pharm../Pharm.D (PB) courses from 17/11/2020 onwards. Counselling fee (for GATE/GPAT/APPGECET-2020 candidates) is Rs. 600/- for SC/ST and Rs. 1200/- for others .

AP PGECET counselling 2020 will conduct in online mode. Only those students who will be shortlisted will be eligible to participate in the counselling process

Counselling 2020 process is given below to you:-
Registration & Fee payment - Students who will be shortlisted for the counselling of AP PGECET 2020 will have to log in to their accounts using hall ticket number and rank. After successful login, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 600 for SC/ST) in online mode. The transaction ID should be kept safe for future references.
Reporting at centres - Upon successful payment, you will be required to report at their respective document verification centres. The rank card of AP PGECET 2020 has to be provided to the authorities. On the basis of the ranks, you will be called and you will have to show their transaction ID or processing fee payment receipt and also provide their mobile number and Aadhaar card number.
Document Verification - In the next step, you will have to get the following documents verified:

• Hall ticket of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2020
• Rank Card of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2020
• SSC, Intermediate, Diploma/Degree Marks Memo
• Study Certificate for class 10 to Graduation
• Residence certificate for preceding 7 years from the qualifying exam i.e. Graduation in respect of candidates who have private study without any institutionalized education (Aadhaar card/ Household card)
• Integrated Community Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates
• Residence certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in A.P excluding the period of their employment outside A.P from M.R.O in case of candidates who studied outside the state of A.P
• Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 1st January of the year of admission [valid for three years from the date of issue] (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption)/ Household card (white)/ Ration Card
• Transfer Certificate

After document verification, a receipt will be generated. Keep it safe for future use. Also, a login ID will be sent to a registered mobile number.
Filling of choices - you will also have to generate a password for the login id using the registration number, hall ticket number and date of birth. Upon successful login, OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates using which candidates will be able to fill out their preferred institute and courses. You are advised to select as many options they can to increase the chances of admission.
Allotment of seat - Finally, the last step will be seat allotment. The authorities will allot seats to the you on the basis of merit, availability of seat, and preferred filled choices. Seat allotted candidates will have to download the seat allotment letter and report through self-reporting system. You will also have to report at the allotted institutes failing which will lead to forfeiture of seat.
