Hello there,

With a rank of 232 in AP ECET and belonging to the ST category, you have a strong chance of securing a seat in GVPE Engineering College for the Chemical Engineering branch.

Factors to Consider:

  1. Previous Year Cut-offs : Check the previous year's cut-off ranks for Chemical Engineering at GVPE to gauge your likelihood of admission. Typically, seats reserved for ST candidates have lower cut-offs compared to the general category.

  2. Reservation Benefits : As an ST candidate, you will have a significant advantage due to the reservation policy, which can increase your chances of getting into your desired branch.

  3. Counseling Process : Make sure to participate actively in the counseling rounds. There might be options for lateral entry or spot admissions, so stay informed.

    Recommendation:

  • Contact the College : It might be helpful to reach out to GVPE Engineering College’s admission office for specific information about the current year’s cut-offs and available seats for Chemical Engineering.

Given your rank and category, you are well-positioned to secure a seat, but staying updated throughout the admission process is crucial.

I have 1 backlog in diploma mechanical engineering in 5th semister and i qualifed for ap ecet exam and Now i am eligible for ap ecet counselling or not... please give fast reply

Nitin Kumar 7th Jun, 2024

It is unlikely you'll be eligible for AP ECET counselling with a current backlog in your diploma.

Most sources mention that candidates must possess a Diploma in Engineering and Technology from the State Board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh (or a recognized AICTE institution) with a minimum percentage (usually 40-45%) to be eligible for AP ECET counselling.Since you have a backlog, you likely haven't received your diploma certificate yet. This might make you ineligible for counselling at this stage.

If you clear your backlog and obtain your diploma certificate before counselling begins (usually July 2024 for AP ECET), you might be eligible to participate.

my rank is 5971 in Ap ECET i got seat in vR clg and pvp clg course IT which clg free seat

kumardurgesh1802 30th Oct, 2024

Hello Swathi,

With a rank of 5971 in AP ECET and offers from VR College and PVP College for an IT course, securing a free seat depends on the college’s fee reimbursement policies, your category, and the government’s financial assistance criteria for AP ECET ranks. Generally:

  1. Fee Reimbursement Eligibility : If your family income is within the limit (typically around Rs. 1 lakh per year for most categories) and you belong to an eligible category, you may qualify for fee reimbursement under state schemes in both colleges.

  2. College-Specific Policies : PVP College often has a higher likelihood of fee reimbursement for eligible students in IT and engineering courses. However, VR College may also provide full or partial reimbursement if you meet state scholarship eligibility.

Confirm your category and financial background with the respective college administration or the AP government’s scholarship portal to determine the exact amount of reimbursement available.
