If your son have State quota then he can take any department for Degree. If he has open quota then

he can take admission in Amrita School of Engineering at Bengaluru and Amritapuri campus for Computer Science Engineering Branch and core Branches.

Based on your rank and the previous year cutoffs you have almost no chance of getting BTech CSE in any of the Amrita University campuses.

 Yes you can get scholarship for your AEEE rank.

there are many factors that effect the chance of getting scholarship.

to avail tution fee wavier, you have to be top in the 30% of the Exam

to get scholarship, you have to be with in 2000 rank of

Depends. If you are from Tamil Nadu, then with a rank of 12k you can get a seat at Chemical or Civil engineering.

If you are in Open quota, with a rank of around 5k you will get Civil or Chemical.

It may be difficult for you get admission using jee main

Using AEEE, you can take admission in any one of 3 Amrita School of Engineering if you have state quota.

If you have open quota,then go for admission using JEE main.

Using JEE main you can get

Hello Pavani,

Yes you can take any Department for your Btech Degree. Except Computer Science Engineering Department at Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru as the closing rank  is 10354 if you have state quota.

If you have open quota then it will be difficult to take an admission.

Hello Sai Sashidhar,

Using AEEE rank you can join in any one of 3 amrita school of engineering.

Using JEE main you can join if you come in the range for IIT,NIT or IIIT.

You can go for AEEE where it will be more comfortable for you.
