There is no cut-off closing rank: you can not choose CSE at Amritapuri when all seats are filled up. If you have state quota, then you can choose one of the state quota seats also. Otherwise, you can choose only the open quota seats.

Based on previous years cutoffs and trends , you can get a seat in any course anything except CSE if you only belong to the respective state ie Tamil Nadu . I don't think you can get a seat in open category ,since the cutoffs are high.
