CVPP Recruitment through GATE 2020 - Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPPPL) has released the application form for the recruitment of Trainee Engineer (Civil) through GATE 2020. CVPPPL is recruiting 45 Trainee Engineers in Civil for its project sites through GATE 2020 in three phases. However, the exam authorities have released the first phase notification about the recruitment of 20 Trainee Engineer (Civil). Candidates who will qualify GATE exam with a valid score are eligible to apply for CVPP Recruitment through GATE 2020. The online application form for CVPPPL recruitment through GATE 2020 is available from January 1, 2020. CVPP Recruitment through GATE 2020 - Eligibility Criteria
Students who have completed full-time undergraduate engineering course in Civil can apply for CVPP Recruitment through GATE 2020. Check out the eligibility details given in the table below.
Eligibility Criteria for CVPP Recruitment through GATE 2020
The age of a candidate for applying for the above mentioned post should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 31.12.2019.
Candidates should have passed BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) in Civil from a recognized Indian University approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade of AMIE in Civil Engineering with minimum a minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
For SC / ST / PwD - A minimum of 50% marks in qualifying examination.
Candidates should have a valid GATE 2020 score.

PwD (SC/ST) - 15 years

Guidelines before filling the application form for the CVPP Recruitment through GATE 2020
Candidates should ensure that they are fulfils the eligibility details as prescribed by the CVPPPL.
They need to fill the online application form carefully without any mistakes because no changes will be possible after the final submission of application form.
Mode of application fee payment - Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking and Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
If the online transaction has not successfully been completed, then they should make the payment again.
GATE 2019 score or prior is not valid. Only GATE 2020 score is valid for the CVPP Recruitment through GATE 2020.
How to fill the application form for the CVPP Recruitment through GATE 2020
Candidates can check the steps given below to fill the online application form.
Step-1: Online registration - First, complete the initial registration process by furnishing the necessary details like name, mobile number, email id etc.
Step-2: Filling the online application form - After that, fill the remaining part of the online application form without any mistakes.
Step-3: Uploading the documents - You have to upload the necessary documents as per the prescribed format includes passport size photo, signature and other required documents/certificates as given below.
Documents needed to upload
- Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate/ Class 10 Certificate with DOB).
- hardcopy of GATE 2020 admit card or registration form.
- Mark sheets/certificates for educational qualifications from Class 10 onwards.
- A certificate for the conversion of CGPA/grades to the percentage of marks issued by the Institution/University from where the concerned has obtained the degree.
- For SC/ST/OBC/EWS category candidates, Caste Certificate issued by a competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Government of India.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued in favour of the Candidate employed with Govt. departments /PSUs / Autonomous bodies.
- The OBC caste certificate containing the Non-creamy layer clause should be valid and issued not before April 1, 2019.
- Certificate from the District Magistrate within whose jurisdiction she/he had ordinarily resided or any other authority designated in this behalf by the Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir to the effect that she/he had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from January 1, 1980 to December 12, 1989 for age relaxation.
- Persons with Disability (PwD) Certificate/Document in support of Ex-serviceman.
- Certificate issued by the concerned state authority in support of the claim that the candidate belongs to Project Affected Family (PAF) of CVPPPL.
Step-4: Application fee payment - The application fee can be paid through online mode only - Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking & Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets.

Step-6: Final submission - Check all the details provided on the online application form before final submission. No corrections will be made after the final submission of the application form.
Step-7: Take a printout - After final submission, take a printout of the same for future use.
CVPP Recruitment through GATE 2020 - Selection Procedure
Candidates should apply and appear for the GATE 2020 exam which is scheduled to be held on February 1 & 2, 2020 and February 8 & 9, 2020.
They are required to apply for Trainee Engineer (Civil) post through the official website of CVPPPL. The application form will be available from January 1, 2020 to January 31, 2020.
Candidates need to have a valid GATE 2020 score to get qualified for the CVPP recruitment through GATE 2020. They will be placed in the merit list on the basis of GATE score.
According to the Agreement of CVPPPL Promoters, 49% of employees shall be permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir, subject to their suitability, availability and eligibility.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit of GATE 2020 scores and available vacancies. Those who are selected will be issued an “appointment order”.
CVPP Recruitment through GATE 2020 - Service Agreement Bond
The selected candidates will have to execute a Service Agreement Bond to serve the company for a period of four years including the period spent as Trainee. In addition, selected candidates will also be needed to provide a Surety Bond on non-judicial stamp paper of required value.

Yes, you can join Osmania University.
But there are very less admission from GATE.
If you are from CS/IT then joining is worth. OU has very good placement record for CS/IT Branches.and it also depends on the category you belong to.

There is no age limit for appearing for GATE exam. You can appear for GATE exam at any point of time to pursue a Master's degree or P.hd from a reputed institute. Depending on your rank and score in GATE, you can get a seat in IITs, NITs and other institutions for your Master's or P.hd.
As you have had a long break from your studies after your bachelor's degree, you really need to thoroughly revise all your concepts and work hard for GATE. Also , please note that for getting job into PSUs through GATE exam, the eligible age is 25- 28 years. ST/SC/OBC students get a relaxation of 3-5 years.
As you have passed your bachelor's in 2006 so you won't be eligible for getting jobs at PSUs.

can i get mhrd scholarship through mtech in vit under gate
Candidates with a valid GATE score will be able to avail the AICTE GATE scholarship. The scholarship is of Rs 12400 per month. The duration of the AICTE GATE 2020 scholarship will be 24 months or the duration of the course, whichever is lower.
The candidates will be required to undertake 8 to 10 hours (per week) of work related to teaching and research activities as assigned to him / her by the Institute which could include tutorials, laboratory classes, development and maintenance of la boratories, assistance in research and development activities undertaken by faculty members, maintenance and operation of Computers and other central facilities, assistance in library, etc.

Apart from that VIT provides a monthly stipend of Rs 4000 for top six GATE scores in each M.Tech program.
