Assam PAT Counselling 2019 - The Directorate of Technical Education Assam is conducting counselling of Assam PAT 2019 from June 17 onward. Assam Polytechnic 2019 counselling is being conducted in offline mode and in a centralized manner. To participate in the counselling process, Assam PAT candidates need to qualify in the offline exam and score the minimum prescribed marks in their respective categories. The candidate has to report for Assam PAT counselling in person on the assigned date and venue. The allotment of seats will be based on both marks obtained in the offline exam and also the category of the candidate. Some 3,525 seats belonging to engineering and non-engineering courses are being offered through Assam PAT counselling 2019. Important- The candidates who have appeared for Assam PAT 2019 and applied for NCC/Sports Quota may submit their testimonial along with the certificate from the Director of Sports & Youth Welfare Assam to the office of the Controller of Examinations SCTE, Assam, DTE Assam on or before June 27, 2019 to fill up remaining vacant seats.

Assam PAT 2019 Counselling

To be eligible for participation in Assam Polytechnic 2019 counselling, the candidate needs to score the minimum marks prescribed in their respective categories. During Assam PAT counselling, candidates who score higher marks in the entrance test will be called first for seat allotment.

Assam PAT 2019 Counselling Process

  • Counselling of Assam Polytechnic Admission Test 2019 is being conducted centrally and in offline mode.

  • Candidates have been shortlisted for counselling based on their category and marks they have obtained in Assam PAT entrance exam.

  • All eligible candidates have to report for counselling in person at the designated venue and on the scheduled day, details of which will be published after the Assam PAT 2019 result.

  • At the time of reporting, the candidate needs to bring along originals of all essential documents and photocopies, and also duly filled Form B

  • The allotment of seats is based on the merit rank of the candidate.

  • For the purpose of Assam PAT 2019 seat allotment, authorities apart from a common merit list will prepare also prepare category-wise merit lists.

  • If a candidate belonging to reserved category appears in more than one merit lists - say common merit list and category-wise list - he/she would be considered for seat allotment in each of these categories separately. That being said, a candidate will be allotted one seat only.

  • Once admitted to a polytechnic, the candidate will not be allowed to undertake any other course


Documents checklist for Assam PAT Counselling 2019

  • Duly filled form B (it comes attached with the Information Brochure)

  • Admit Card, Mark sheets, and pass certificate of Class X

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

  • One recent passport size photograph

  • Admit card of Assam PAT 2019

  • Non-creamy certificate issued by Deputy Commissioner of the respective district for OBC/MOBC, TGLC/Ex -TGLC, Moran community candidates

  • Any other relevant certificate
