The authorities will hold the Assam Polytechnic counselling online. The counselling process will be conducted in 4 rounds. There are two additional spot counselling rounds to fill the vacant seats. The authority will release the list of participating institutes for Assam Polytechnic on the official website. 1. Directorate of Technical Education Assam will conduct the Assam Polytechnic counselling.
2. Candidates can register for Assam Polytechnic counselling on the website, dte.assam.gov.in
3. The candidates must upload the required documents and choose the courses and colleges they are interested in for admission through Assam Polytechnic.
4. Seat allotment is based on the candidate's choice and performance in the entrance exam, the number of available seats, and other factors.
5. For each round of counselling, Assam Polytechnic seat allotment will be announced on the official website.
6. Candidates who qualify for admission must submit a seat acceptance letter for Assam Polytechnic 2025 counselling within the stipulated time and report to the specified venue with all the necessary documents to prove their eligibility.
7. If the candidate accepts the polytechnic admission within the specified time, they will be considered for further upgradation of their choice of institution and branch in further rounds of counselling.
Candidates are to follow the following steps for admission who are allotted a seat in the Government Polytechnic Institutions of Assam :
To accept the allotted seat, candidates need to log in using their Roll No. and date of birth.
After logging in, candidates need to complete the following steps:
Upload the Acceptance letter in the prescribed format
Upload the filled Part-A form.
Download the DTE Assam Polytechnic seat allotment letter.
The candidate's documents will be sent to the allotted Institution for verification and the status of verification will be displayed in the Online Counselling Portal once it is done successfully.
Once the verification is done, a provisional admission receipt will be generated at the candidate's portal, which they need to download.
A candidate must attend the classes in the allotted institution. If a candidate abstains from the classes, the seat will be considered vacant and will be filled up in the subsequent upgrade of the counselling process.
