Toughness is a relative term and depends upon how you take it. Now I would describe it in two terms, if you are talking about difficulty level of questions then definitely  Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering entrance examination is difficult than MHT CET, the question asked are high to moderate level but there is no negative marking while if we talk about MHT CET most of the questions are moderate to easy.

Now there is one more factor that is competition from other candidates. If we talk about VITEEE there are only four campuses available for grabs but MHT CET scores are accepted by hundreds of colleges.

Vellore Institute of Technology conducts VITEEE examination in order to offer admission into various engineering courses across the various campuses. VITEEE 2022 pattern has changed a bit and number of questions is increased to 125, the number of questions  asked from each section is as follows:

• Mathematics - 40 Questions

• Physics - 35 Questions

• Chemistry - 35 Questions

• Aptitude - 10 Questions

• English - 5 Questions

A total of 150 minutes would be provided for solving the question where +1 is given for correct responses while 0 for wrong or unattempted questions.

On a comparitive basis Aeee is easy than Vitee.

AEEE put more emphasis on fundamental concepts and the questions asked are a short and direct implementation of some concept and must be thorough with the concepts of NCERTS .

There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions in total . The following is a breakdown of the number of questions for each topic. 30 marks for physics, 30 marks for chemistry, 40  marks for Mathematics.  For every correct answer, 3 marks are awarded, while for each incorrect answer 1 mark is deduced. duration of exam is 2 hrs 30 min.

Where as viteee is easy when compared to JEE .

Viteee is computer based exam , with a duration of 2hrs 30 min. and has the sections of  Mathematics - 40 Questions, Physics - 35 Questions, Chemistry - 35 Questions, Aptitude - 10 Questions, English - 5 Questions , a total of 125 MCQ'S.one mark for every correct answer and no negative marking.

Vit vellore does not have something like cut offs because as per your rank you would be called for councelling phase wise . If your luck is good and if in phase 1 seats doesn't get filled up then you will also get seat in phase 2.

But as per my view it would be better if you keep your rank below 5000.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like:-

• Number of candidates appearing in the examination.
• Number of vacant seats in college.
• previous year cut offs
• Difficulty level of the paper.

VITEEE 2022 application form has been released .So, in case if you haven't filled its form then you should fill it.

These kinds of books are certainly helpful but this not guarantees that you would be able to do well in the examination because every year pattern changes and new types of questions are introduced in examination. Like a wise last year the questions asked in mathematics section were equivalent to JEE main level and if one had just prepared previous year papers it would have been quite difficult for him or her. Similarly for Chemistry section all you need to do is practice all the question given in NCERT exercises and you would be done. The Physics section is moderate to high and requires preparation and practice of difficult questions which you would generally find in books of Arihant or HC Verma which is also recommended by our experts.

I would like to give you a personal suggestion that don't this examination to be easy because there is high demand of Vellore Institute of Technology among students due to its high ranking and good placements. Also remember that better you score lower the money you parents need to pay.

See till now VIT Vellore has not released any notification for VITEEE 2022 regarding the change of dates of examination and for now the schedule is set from June 17th to 25th, 2022 and for JEE-Main 2022, June attempt is set from June 20th to 29th, 2022.

So there are good chances that the dates of VITEEE 2022 will get changed but till now not such announcement has been made but if the changes will be made then it will be announced in due time on the official notification of VITEEE :-
