Best collage to do MBA in Australia? And what is the term fees of it?

Azim Musa Shaikh 11th Jul, 2018
Australia figures among the top study abroad destinations in the world for Indian students. It wont be a surprise if every fifth Indian student you speak to among the populace planning to study abroad, has Australia in mind. Undesirable circumstances aside, it remains a top notch destination for Indian students wishing to study abroad.

the average tuition fee charged across Australian higher education institutions is AU$7,900 (INR 40,1190).
generally speaking, a bachelors degree can cost somewhere around AU$10,000, vocational programs AU$5,000. Post graduate and PhD programs will cost almost AU$20,000 to 37,000 annually. This is just an estimate. The fee differs from course to course.
And mind you, this is just the tuition fee. Living expenses, including food, entertainment, phone, and travel, again vary from place to place. Bigger cities will have bigger expenses and could range from AU$350 to 900 per week. Accommodation expenses will vary depending upon what kind of lodging you prefer (guest houses / hostels / on-campus / homestay / rental / shared rental / boarding schools).

Why study in Australia ??

Australia promotes innovation, creativity and independent thinking throughout its universities. As an international student in Australia, you can expect to live, grow and learn in a young, friendly country full of opportunities.

Universities

There is a total of 43 accredited universities in Australia comprising 40 Australian universities, two international universities, and a smaller private specialty university. Higher education courses and qualifications are also offered by many non-university providers in the higher education sector.

Tuition and Program Duration

International students must pay tuition fees before visa . Typical tuition for master’s degrees is A$15,000 to A$36,000 per year depending upon the university.

Masters degree programs take 1-2 years to complete. The course of study is usually two years after a bachelor degree; however, a master’s degree can be obtained in one year if the student’s bachelor degree was obtained with honors but that totally depends on your profile and university as well.

Intakes

Australia generally has two intakes i.e. February and July, with few Universities offering multiple intake in September & November. It is suggested that you should start making applications ideally 7-8 months prior to the intake. University generally takes around 4-6 weeks to process the applications.

VISA Requirements

You must be able to prove to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) that you meet the following key Australian student visa requirements:

  • Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirement.
  • Financial requirements.
  • English proficiency requirements.
  • Health and character requirements.

University of Sydney is a decent college

I have 6 years of education gap and my qualification is 12th standard, how can I apply for Australia? Any Suggestions!

anirudha vats 11th Apr, 2021

Hi,

Well first you need to see whether there is any age criteria in your choice of college. A lot of colleges ask students to be within a certain age range to go for undergraduate or graduate studies. Then you need to show a very strong reason for not continuing your studies after standard 12th and taking a long 6 year worth gap.

I hope this helps.

All the best.
