You can apply for VITEEE 2019 in both online and offline. You need to pay ₹1200/- in order to fill the form! For offline application you need to fill the OMR sheet with prescribed details and post it to the University address. For online appication you can apply on VIT University official website! 

Applications will be released on 1st November 2019.

It is not as difficult as JEE Mains. It is easier than JEE though the format is a bit different from other exams. The duration of the exam is 2.5 hours without any form of negative marking. All the questions are Multiple Choice Questions.

Most of the questions require minimal calculations and some of them are pretty much formula based.

I am not confirm about the availability of defense quota - but the environment is healthy. You should reach out to Director of Admissions (UG/PG)  and inquire about it. If you have a promising profile, there could be a way.

Yes there will be some course but not all since today there are number of competition for study abroad so almost all of them nowadays have good academics so hope for the best
