It is my personal view that dont join vit you will surely regret after 1 year and mark my word.i m 3rd year mechanical student at vit vellore and the faculty is totally absurd

it is really difficult to get computer science engineering in this rank, as computer science is now most demanding stream of engineering. however you will not find any problem getting civil engineering.

you may not get core branches of engineering but you can get combinational branches like electronics and instrumentation, biomedical, biotechnology, bio informatics, energy enginnering,etc you may find seats in these streams. however any branch is worth to join in VIT vellore.

See with this rank u might not be getting a chance to grab a seat in the CSE branch in the Vellore campus but this rank is sufficient to by u a day in so e other Core branches for pusuing ur higher studies. U can opt for
Bro, actually in VIT, admission takes place through it's own paper. You should have give its paper to increase your chances for admission, as VIT gives priority to the students giving their own paper and scoring in them. You can take admission in VIT through it's paper only.
