VITEEE Scholarship Categories are as follows:-
Category 1 : rank (1 to 20,000)
Category 2 : rank (20,001 to 40,000)
Category 3 : rank (40,001 to 65,000)
Category 4 : rank (65,001 to 99,999)
Category 5 : rank (1 lakh and above)

Vellore Institute of Technology assigns the students into categories for Scholarship provision. That is basically, fee would be lesser for candidate who scores better in VITEEE. Scholarship Categories are as follows:-

Category1 : rank (1 to 20,000)
Category 2 : rank (20,001 to 40,000)

According to your rank in VITEEE 2019 ,you can get all branches in VIT vellore campus except Computer science engineering and all branches in VIT Chennai campus like mechanical engineering .Electronics and communication engineering, etc.

Getting a seat into VIT Amaravati campus and VIT Bhopal is surely possible for your rank of approximately 42,000 in VITEEE 2019.
As you know, you won't get a seat at Vellore or Chennai campus due to their very high cutoffs. Candidates need an all India rank below
