Hi Vamsi!!! Congratulations on your rank and I would like to inform you even if they have told you about VIT Bhopal,you're very unlikely to get a core branch there so you have to go for management quota where you'll get both your desired stream and campus with higher fees.

As per previous year cutoffs the closing rank for CSE :

• VIT Velllore is 13500
• VIT Chennai is 14000

Yes you should definitely attend counselling sessions as according to previous years closing ranks in VIT Chennai campus you may get civil engineering (previous year closing rank 40000), electrical and electronics engineering (previous year closing rank 28000), electronics and computer engineering (previous year closing rank 42000), mechanical engineering

No, you can't get CSE in VIT with this rank as VIT Officialy takes upto 1 lakhs rank at management quota that too with 5lakhs per annum fees.

So, i think it will be quite impossible officialy but  i am not sure about the Unofficial ways.

If you are confident enough that you will crack BITSAT then you can sit back and study hard. Otherwise my opinion is not to leave the chance. Sit for the counseling process for both and if your preferred stream is given take that and get your admission in VIT OR

See u might be getting a seat in the VIT VELLORE campus inhtgw CSE but that would be under management quota as it is a private institution and the seats are filled until they are full. U can also apply for the Chennai campus to get ur seat

Dear Aspirant, in the official website of the vit, there is no cut off marks for the the admission process. But you can join in vit Velore and Chennai campus. So at give the name for counceling process then wait for which stream you will get. And then choose one
