Hope you are doing good. I regret that no source had actually provided the statistics as to how many students attempted phase 1, of SRMJEE in 2022. However, in 2021, almost one lakh students had attended the exam. Though it is a private university, because of its wonderful academics and infrastructure, many students will find it comfortable. Students may be increased, from 2021, to 2022 due to competition.

At first congratulations on your success in SRMJEE. You have got a very good rank and have decent chances of getting computer science and engineering. To get provisional confirmation you need to do a payment of Rs. 2,10,000/- (which will include Registration cum Counselling Fee of Rs. 10,000/- and Part of first-year tuition Fee). If you withdraw your admission from the institution within a stipulated period by UGC, you will get complete refund of your tution fee except the registration charge which will be deducted as processing charge.

SRMJEE main campus cutoff rank for last year is upto 5000 rank and your rank is more than that so it is quite difficult for you to get admission in main campus.as the prediction based on last year it may change and if you are lucky enough you will get main campus.

Moreover,fee for the srm CSE is for A category students is 4,00,000 including hostel fee per year and for category b management quota seats it is rs 1 lakh more than the usual fee of category A.
