yes u need to appear for srm jeee for PG courses which is conducted by SRM universityuniversity.. exam location will be major cities of India. however you will get extra credit during counselling for securing gate score. if u have 50% in UG you can appear for the test.
GATE officially haven't released the result yet. And thus it's quite difficult to predict your rank form your expected score. 45 marks are considered a bit average as GATE score in electrical branch.
