As per previous year's cut off, CSE has a closing rank of 10000. You might/might not be securing a CSE seat in the main campus. But, you would be eligible for IT branch.

Congratulations on your rank! Keeping the previous year cutoffs in mind, I think you will easily get CSE in main campus with a rank of 1710. Last year the cutoff rank for CSE in main campus was around 9000, and your rank is way better than 9000 so

As seen from previous year no of students applied for srmjeee were about 2.8 lakhs and to get admission in srm you have to get minmum rank about 70,000. To get cse department you should have minimum from 10k to 12k for main campus.
