i gave scored 137 in nata and 71.6 percentage in boards can i get a government college or good private college ?

Abhishek 20th Aug, 2024

Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine.

With a score of 137 in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and a 71.6% in your board examinations, your chances of securing admission to a government or a reputed private college for architecture will depend on various factors, including the specific cutoffs for each institution and their admission criteria. Government colleges typically have higher cutoffs so your NATA score and board percentage may need to be competitive to gain entry.

However, several good private colleges may consider your scores for admission if they align with their criteria. It is advisable to research the cutoff marks and admission requirements of both government and private institutions.

To get the more precise details, you can contact the admission offices of the colleges you are interested and increase your chances of finding a suitable program.

Hope this resolves your query.

i have registered wrong email id in nata registeration, what should i do to change

Nitin Kumar 6th Jun, 2024

There isn't a publicly documented way to directly change your registered email address on your NATA application form.

The most reliable approach is to reach out to the NATA Helpdesk. They can guide you on the process for updating your email address.Explain your situation (wrong email ID registered) and request assistance in updating it.

In rare cases, the NATA website might have announcements or notifications regarding the process for correcting errors in the application form. Keep an eye on the official website for any updates.

If the deadline for submitting applications hasn't passed and you haven't paid the registration fee yet, you might be able to re-register with the correct email address. However, be sure to confirm this with the NATA Helpdesk first, as re-registration fees or penalties might apply.

I hope it helps!

kumardurgesh1802 30th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

With a score of 151 in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and 79% in your 12th CBSE exams, you have a reasonable chance of securing admission to a government architecture college in Kerala or other states, especially considering your category under the Defence quota .

Admission Criteria and Quota:

  1. Defence Quota :

    • Many state universities and institutions have provisions for a Defence quota, which may provide some level of reservation or preference for children of ex-servicemen and serving defence personnel. You should check with specific colleges for their policies regarding the Defence quota in architecture.

  2. Government Colleges in Kerala :

    • In Kerala, colleges such as Government Engineering College, Kozhikode , and Government College of Architecture and Planning, Thiruvananthapuram typically accept NATA scores for admission.

    • Additionally, the LBS Centre for Science and Technology conducts counseling for admissions to B.Arch courses in various colleges in Kerala based on NATA scores.

  3. Other States :

    • Various states also recognize NATA scores for admissions to architecture programs. States like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Maharashtra have their own colleges where you can apply.

Steps to Take:

  1. Research Colleges : Look for government colleges in Kerala and other states that offer B.Arch programs and check their admission criteria.

  2. Application Process : Prepare to apply through the respective state counseling process or directly to the colleges. Make sure to highlight your Defence category status in your applications.

  3. Keep Updated : Stay informed about the admission schedules, as different colleges may have varying deadlines for applications and counseling.

    Conclusion:

Given your NATA score and 12th-grade percentage, along with the Defence quota, you should explore government colleges in Kerala and other states. Be proactive in checking the specific requirements and reservation policies of the colleges you are interested in to enhance your chances of admission.
