Hello candidate,

As per the new syllabus of the NATA examination from this year the entrance exam will only have questions from Aptitude, and there is no drawing part questions available in the examination. The authorities have also mentioned various other topics for assessing the understanding of basic concepts of candidates:

Mathematics

Physics and Geometry

Language and interpretation

Elements and principles of design

Aesthetic sensitivity

Colour theory

Lateral thinking and logical reasoning

Visual perception and cognition

Graphics and imagery

Building anatomy and architectural vocabulary

Basic techniques of building construction and knowledge of material

General knowledge and current affairs

With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you abou the NATA 2022 Syllabus.

The Council of Architecture (COA) will release the NATA 2022 syllabus along with the official brochure at its official website at nata.in . The syllabus of NATA 2022 will help candidates to know about the subjects, topics and sub-topics on which the question paper will be based on. Before commencing the preparation for the NATA 2022 , candidates will have to the syllabus.

NATA Syllabus for Mathematics :

Algebra -

Definitions of A. P. and G.P.; General term; Summation of first n-terms of series ∑n, ∑n²,∑n3 ;

Arithmetic/Geometric series, A.M., G.M. and their relation; Infinite G.P. series and its sum

Logarithms - Definition; General properties; Change of base

Matrices - Concepts of m x n (m ≤ 3, n ≤ 3) real matrices, operations of addition, scalar multiplication and

multiplication of matrices. Transpose of a matrix. Determinant of a square matrix. Properties of determinants (statement only). Minor, cofactor and adjoint of a matrix. Nonsingular matrix. Inverse of a matrix. Finding area of a triangle. Solutions of system of linear equations. (Not more than 3 variables).

Trigonometry - Trigonometric functions, addition and subtraction formulae, formulae involving multiple and submultiple angles, general solution of trigonometric equations. Properties of triangles, inverse trigonometric

functions and their properties

Coordinate Geometry - Distance formula, section formula, area of a triangle, condition of collinearity of three

points in a plane. Polar coordinates, transformation from Cartesian to polar coordinates and vice versa. Parallel

transformation of axes, concept of locus, elementary locus problems. Slope of a line. Equation of lines in

different forms, angle between two lines. Condition of perpendicularity and parallelism of two lines. Distance

of a point from a line. Distance between two parallel lines. Lines through the point of intersection of two lines.

Equation of a circle with a given center and radius. Condition that a general equation of second degree in x, y may represent a circle. Equation of a circle in terms of endpoints of a diameter. Equation of tangent, normal

and chord. Parametric equation of a circle. Intersection of a line with a circle. Equation of common chord of two intersecting circles.

NATA Syllabus for General Aptitude :

General -

Objects, texture related to architecture and the built environment. Interpretation of pictorial compositions,

Visualizing three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawing. Visualizing different sides of 3D objects. Analytical reasoning, mental ability (visual, numerical and verbal), General awareness of national/ international architects and famous architectural creations

Mathematical Reasoning - Statements, logical operations like and, or, if and only if, implies, implied by. Understanding of tautology, converse, contradiction and contrapositive.

Sets & Relations - Idea of sets, subsets, power set, complement, union, intersection and difference of sets, Venn diagram, De Morgan's Laws, Relation and its properties. Equivalence relation — definition and elementary examples.

NATA Exam stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture. NATA is an exam for getting into various architecture colleges of India. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture, is conducted by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture, which is a body of Council of Architecture, New Delhi in India. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture is a national level examination for admission to undergraduate courses in architecture. The subjects included in this examination are as follows:-

  • Physics and Geometry.

  • Colour theory.

The time is provided in NATA for drawing section is 2 hr 15 minutes.the candidates needs to attempt 3 question of drawing within the given time

when will the nata forms be out for 2022??

Hey Dear,

Hope you are well. NATA 2022 forms Candidates can check the details given below to fill the NATA application form.

  • The application form can be filled in online mode by visiting the NATA Portal.
  • The NATA 2022 application form will be released from the first week of March 2022.
  • Candidate has to fill in the details such as personal info, documents uploading, and exam fee payments.
  • After filling the registration form, Candidates are required to take the printout of confirmation pages generated upon successful fee payments.
  • Candidate can fill application form till 1st week of April 2022 for the first session and till the last week of May 2022 for the second session.

See there are no soft copies available for the question papers of NATA available officially or unofficially on Internet. So if you wish to get the NATA previous papers then follow the books by Arihant or Pearson.

TSAP mumbai offers B.arch program to the candidares on the basis of marks candidate secured in NATA and JEE MAINS.this institute was awarded best institution of architechture.

50+ colleges accepts JEE MAIN AND NATA score in maharashtra state. all the colleges altogether starts counselling merit list prepared in rounds.

Cutoff marks for thakur school of architecture and planning is 589 last year.you can expect close to this rank.

what is the eligibility criteria to get into Masters program in NATA

I hope that you are doing great.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that NATA is a nationwide entrance exam for admission to architecture undergraduate programs. In order to take admission in the Architecture course, an aptitude test is designed.

So, you should meet the following eligibility  in order to give the exam by NATA :

  • Age- The minimum age limit for NATA 2021 is 17 years. Therefore, candidates should be 17 years old on July 31, 2021. There is no maximum age limit for NATA at this time. However, there are no privileges of age relaxation, unlike other exams.
  • Education – The educational qualification for NATA 2021 is as follows-
  • Candidates who passed 10 + 2 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Similarly, the students of 10+ 3 diploma with Mathematics are also eligible.
  • Besides this, candidates enrolled in similar courses are also eligible. Such Candidates can apply for NATA 2021 provisionally.
  • Successful candidates can go for a B. Arch degree. This course is offered by various universities and institutes. However, this is possible only if candidates meet the eligibility criteria.
  • However, a minimum of 50% gross marks is required for successful admission.
  • The gross marks of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics should be 50%.
  • Admission to the first year of the B. Arch. The program is by invitation only.
