There is no particular reason given by the officials for conducting the NATA 3 times a year. It gives candidates the opportunity to get better marks. So it is good that the exam is conducted thrice. Council of Architecture has announced the NATA exam date 2022 at nata.in. The exam conducting authority will conduct the NATA 2022 in three sessions on June 12, July 3 and July 24 respectively. National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national level undergraduate exam which is conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) for admission to 5-year B. Arch and B. Planning programmes .
NATA 2022 Eligibility Criteria - State Level Admission Candidate should be an India National . Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible for admission. Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam securing minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Looking at the previous year cutoff for NATA, you have to score a minimum marks of around 120 (to be on the safer side) to get B.Arch Admission in MSU Baroda.
You can do it yourself as well by dividing your NATA Score out of 120 by 2 and then adding it to the marks scored in 12th boards exam . Last Year the cutoff for CBSE board it was 80.95. And for Gujarat Board it was 72.4.
So, if you score 120( let say) in NATA nad 70% in class 12th board examination, then your total NATA score will be 70 + 120/2 = 130, which is a very good score in NATA.

It is not a problem at all if you wish to attempt only in 2nd and 3rd attempt as the best of all the 3 attempts will be taken into the consideration and the best out of 3 marks will be considered.
According to the new guidelines, give by NATA you can give NATA twice a year just according to the notice issued by nata and there is no limit of giving the number of attempting exam until you got your required score .

As you child have passed 12 science with 80% marks and have qualified in data exam then he has the great chance for taking admission in Maharaja sauji University Baroda for B arch courses. To apply for NATA 2022 a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with 50% aggregate in these subjects and overall 50% aggregate in 10+2 examination from a recognized board or must have passed Diploma (10+3) with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Candidates who are appearing in 10+2 examination or 10+3 examination in 2022 are also eligible to apply provisionally for NATA 2022.
NATA 2022 is conducted thrice is this year.
A candidate can appear for one or two or three sessions depending on their interest. If a candidate appear for two session then best of two sessions will be considered. If a candidate appear for three sessions then average of two sessions will be considered to determine the score. As there is no age limit you can appear for NATA in any year as long as you fulfill the eligibility criteria. But you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria specified by the institute in which you are seeking admission.
If you are currently in Class 12th and will appear for class 12th examination in 2022 then you are eligible to apply for NATA 2022 provided you must score the minimum percentage of marks as specified above. If you will appear for class 12th examination in 2023 then you are eligible to apply for NATA 2023.
