To be eligible to get admission into LNMIIT you must have scored atleast 100 marks  in JEE -MAINS.

The closing rank for this year varies may be a slight difference of 5 to 10 marks or so .

M sorry to say , you can't get a seat in this college.

Seeing your rank and previous year cuttoff of LNMIT,you seens to have less chance of getting seat in LNMIT.You need rank under 25 with OBC quota.You rank is too low for LNMIT.Look for another engineering entrance examination.With this score chance of getting good engineering college seems very less.

In my opinion CSE from NIT Manipur is better than any state engineering college and in all aspects it is a good choise in North East NITs.

The computer science and engineering department of NIT Manipur has an intake of 60 students of which 30 seats are for Home state students and 30 for other state students.

The placement scenario has been good and most of the students of CSE branch here get placed decently and some of them at very good packages.One student of 2018 batch got placed in BPCL with a package of 17.5 laks,one in Microsoft with a package of around 10laks,so I would saythe placements are good for CSE.

In LNMIIT  the admission is done through LNMIIT counselling seperately, which is totally based on the marks scored in the Joint Entrance Exam. Each branch have some cutoff marks, the students above the cutoff marks will be alloted the seat. The LNMIIT offers Bachelor of Technology course in Computer Science, Communication and Computer Science, Electronics and Mechanical Engineeing only, each branch have a seperate cutoff marks.

The previous year cutoff of LNMIIT for CSE was 116 marks in JEE. As you have stated that you secured 3800 rank which signifies approximately 117-119 marks. So getting CSE branch in LNMIIT will be based on the level of competition and some luck factor( most probably you will be alloted CSE in first or second counselling). You can opt for CSE branch as the first priority in the counselling form. And LNMIIT offers Communication and Computer Engineering , Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. You can opt for CCE as your second option. LNMIIT also offers some scholarship for which you can apply at the time of admission. Dear Ravi, currently LNMIIT is providing two types of scholarship-

• Merit-based Scholarships are awarded to the meritorious students based on a certain criteria.To be eligible in First Semester, candidates should have JEE (Advanced) AIR rank upto 12000. To be eligible from Second Semester onwards, candidates need to maintain a CGPA of 9.0 or above. The scholarship compensates the Academic Tuition Fee.
• Need-based Scholarships are applicable to BPL card-holders and beneficiaries of the National Food Security Act 2013 having income below Rs. 1 Lakh per Annum. The scholarship isn’t applicable in First Semester. To be eligible from Second Semester onwards, candidates need to maintain a CGPA of 6.0 or above and no-backlog. The scholarship compensates the Academic Tuition Fee.
