First of all congratulations for your result. You know that cutoffs change every year. But if we go through last year's cutoffs, then the closing rank for CSE in KL University lies around 7000 to 15000 rank and you have secured a rank 3478 which is really good. So based on the previous year data, you have fair chances of getting a seat in KL University. You may or may not get Computer Science branch but in other branches such as Electrical, Electronics you have good chances.

You got 5420 rank in kleee 2020. You asked if you may get mechanical engineering in kl university or not.

Now, see,

One should be with less than 4000 rank to get cse in klu.

One should be with around 4000 to 10000 rank to get the other good branches.

So, you may not get cse but you will definitely get other branches including mechanical in KL University.

The trends of cutoffs are prone to change every year. This year more or less the cutoffs are going to be affected very much owing to the ongoing situation. But it will give you a rough estimate to rely upon.

You can get Directly admission in Kl Univesity if you have 60 % in PCM. There is no need for KLEE to take admission in KL University. You can directly take admission in KL University. You can check his website also for more details. Hope this information is helpful for you.

I think you mean KL University which conducts the KLEEE exam for the admission process.

The criteria to get in KL University for B.Tech are:

1. Qualified in the KLEEE Exam which is to acquire 45% marks/JEE Mains/JEE Advanced/ State level engg. exams

2. Should have scored above 60% aggregate in PCM/PCB.
