HEY STUDENT!

Yes you can appear for JEE MAINS 2023 even if you have not scored 75% in board exam. As per the notification by NTA for 2022 , candidates who have passed their 12th boards or equivalent examination with a recognized board are eligible to appear for JEE MAINS

Hello My question is that this year the percentage required for NITs were 50 in boards. I got 70% , but I want to take a drop year and appear JEE mains next year. So will this eligibility criteria will still be applicable next year. Will I be able to get into NITs with this marks. please help

Dear student!

As per the NTA guidelines issued by authority for JEE MAINS 2022 is candidates are eligible for JEE MAINS 2022 if they have passed their 12th boards or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Hence , no minimum marks criteria is mentioned to apeear for the exam

Dear student, as far as board percentage is concerned, the mininmum eligibility criteria has been waived for this year, so that won't be an issue.

No, you won't be eligible for JEE Advance 2023 . From the year of graduating 10+2 or its equivalent, a candidate may apply for JEE Main three times in a row. Accordingly, you may apply for JEE Main in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
