As per previous years trends, you may get JEE Main rank around 77,000 with this 94.7 percentile. It is very difficult and impossible to get CSE in NIT Jamshedpur under OBC category. Because the closing rank in final CSAB special round in 2025 was 21,000. Check the link
After JEE Main, you need to register for counselling through JoSAA (for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs) or apply separately to state/private colleges that accept JEE scores. Fill in your choices, participate in seat allotment rounds, and complete document verification and fee payment to confirm your admission.
With the 56th percentile in JEE Mains , you have to apply through the state counselling to get the college. You can check the list of colleges for 50–60 percentile in JEE Main 2026 here.
With 81.85 percentile in JEE Mains, it is unlikely to secure a seat in NIT for general category candidates. As, it usually requires over 90 percentile to get admission at NIT.
With around 40 percentile in JEE Main and being from outside Maharashtra, getting CS or AI branches in top government colleges is unlikely due to high cutoffs.
