Hello Dear Student,

With a CRL rank of 4,00,477 and SC rank of 27,365 , getting top NITs or IIITs is very difficult.

  • newer or remote NITs,
  • lower-demand branches like Biotechnology or Mining,

Hello Dear Student,

No, you cannot use last year’s JEE Main scorecard for admission in the current academic year.

i got 77.35 percentile sc category in jee main 2026. can i get a seat for btech ece / eee in sastra

Samyak Jain 20th May, 2026

Hello Dear Student,

With a 77.35 percentile in JEE Main as an SC category student, getting ECE or EEE at SASTRA University can be difficult.

SASTRA usually prefers higher JEE Main percentiles for these branches, and the university generally does not provide separate reservation-based cutoffs like state counselling systems.

Hi,

With a CRL around 1.48 lakh and OBC rank around 50,000, getting ECE, EEE, or Mechanical at top colleges like NIT Trichy can be very difficult because those branches usually close at much lower ranks.

However, you may still have chances in branches like Civil Engineering at National Institute
