I have got crl[131456] rank in jee what can I do get seat in any Nit/iiit

Akansha Sharma 25th Apr, 2025

With a CRL rank of 131,456 in JEE, getting a seat in top NITs or IIITs for highly competitive branches like Computer Science or Electronics may be difficult. However, you might have a chance for admission to lower-ranked NITs or IIITs in less competitive branches. You can also consider applying through state quotas or explore other government engineering colleges. Participating in counseling rounds and being flexible with branch preferences will increase your chances of securing a seat.

in which state engineering college i can get computer science with jee rank of 70744. also which private college

lisa 19th Apr, 2025

With a JEE Main rank of 70,744, you're likely to be able to get into some state-run engineering colleges, but not necessarily Computer Science. You'll have a better chance at less competitive, non-CSE branches like Civil or Chemical Engineering. For private colleges, you could explore options like Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT Manipal), LPU (Lovely Professional University), or Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering (SSN).

In jee mains if we get 12 lakhs for oc, we get a seat

Devanshi Goyal 27th Apr, 2025

HELLO,

With a 12 lakh rank in JEE Mains it is very difficult to get a seat in NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs especially for the OC category because:

  • NITs and IIITs usually close around 2-4 lakh rank for the general category.

  • for top branches like CSE, ECE, the closing rank is even lower often under 1 lakh.

  • 12 lakh rank is quite far behind the usual cutoffs.

    But you still have options:

  • Private engineering colleges :
many private colleges accept students based on JEE Main rank or even without it.

  • State counselling :
Some state-level engineering colleges like in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra conduct their own counselling and don not require JEE rank.

  • Management quota- Private colleges also have management quota seats where rank does not matter much but the fees will be higher.

  • Diploma to degree
another option is to do a diploma first and enter engineering in the 2nd year later.
