for applying ews category, for Jee Advanced, you will need to provide ews category certificate in order to be eligible for the benefits available for the candidates of this category.

The cutoff for the reserved category candidates remains less most of the time. And so score around 60-70 marks will do to qualify for JEE Advanced for SC/ST candidates. To become eligible for JEE Advanced you just need to clear the cutoff of JEE Mains.

To qualify for JEE Adcanced you need to secure a position in the top 2,24,000 candidates including all categories. The percentages of various categories are :

OBC-NCL 27%

SC 15%

ST 7.5%

Open 50.5%

Within each of these categories a 5% reservation is for PwD candidates.
