For JEE ADVANCE, Is paper I & II are complusary ? Also paper I & II are seen to be similar ?Is there any difference between them?

Hello Aman.

See u haven't cleared ur first criterion to get qualified for JEE ADVANCED i.e min 75% aggregate in the boards exam. Whether u have scored above the cut off percentile in JEE MAINS that doesn't matter until u have min score in boards.

I would like to tell you that unlike previous years, this year the cut off would be based on the NTA score which is a percentile measure of the students’ performance.

sorry to say but you will not be eligible for jee advanced. but u can still look for good colleges via jac counselling. some of the colleges are:-

  • delhi technological university
  • netaji subhash university of technology
  • IIIT delhi

Hello dear!

As you have secured 74.2096 percentile and you are lying under OBC-ncl category. Since the cutoff for the qualification in JEE main  and eligibility for JEE Advanced for OBC-ncl category is 74.31 percentile. Therefore, you are not qualified for JEE Advanced.

I am very sorry to inform you that according to the previous years cutoff, you may not be able to get into any NIT including NIT AP.

You should look for other state government college or private college.

Hello Sanam,

In case you have not cleared the cutoff of your category (as filed in JEE main application) you are not eligible for JEE advanced no matter what the rank is. NTA has released the cutoffs on the basis of percentiles instead of ranks and they are as follows
