If you appear for the improvement examination then you will have to give the jee advanced examination again to get the seat through this examination. I will suggest you to continue preparing for the jee examination next year also.

The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Roorkee conducted the JEE Advanced exam on May 27. Candidates who have qualified in JEE Main 2019 exam conducted by National Testing Agency, NTA in April this year are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2019.
