Hi Aditya!!!! Since the results are not yet declared it is too soon to tell which college is appropriate.  Not just the rank but even the cutoff cannot be predicted before the results accurately since cutoffs and their corresponding ranks keep changing every year and there is no definite trend.

It is very unpredictable as far as JEE Advanced is considered. In 2017, you wouldn't have cleared the cutoff but in 2016 you would have got rank for 101 marks in JEE advanced in both GENERAL as well as OBC category.

Although 11 k also would land u to new iits of low branches

Although, difficulty level varies from person to person, JEE Advanced 2019 was of moderate to hard difficulty paper and wasn't that easy which has been a general consensus amongst the students. JEE Advanced 2016 in my opinion was by far the toughest as it tested the conceptual understanding

U may get new iits but not a top branch 

Whereas u will get top branches in NITs 

It's up to you
