What are my best options if I get a rank aroud 6500 in JEE Advanced? My JEE Mains rank is 4964 and got 345 marks in BITSAT 2019.

Congratulations for your results. 

With 6500 rank in advance you can get in old IIT'S but you have to compromise on branch.

With 4964 rank in mains you will get good nit with good branches.

And wuth 345 marks in BITSAT you will get any branch in bits goa and

Considering the quality of questions set by IIT Roorkee this year, you scored pretty well. The Expected cutoff for advance will be around 55-60 for SC candidate.

So, you can have an idea with this. I think you can get into top7 IIT's if it will turn out

Hi Likhith,

 According to the guidelines for anyone to be eligible to admission into IITs, he/she must have scored at least 75% in board examination or must be among the top 20 percentile in that exam. So, yes they do matter but they only decide your eligibility not your merit.

Can I get mechanical or mining in any iit with 60 marks in jee advanced 2019 SC candidate?

The cutoff for SC category of JEE Advanced 2018 was 64/360 .Since it is expected that the cutoff for this year would be slightly higher than previous year it is difficult to clear the cutoff at this marks.Anyways lets wait for the results.

Even if then you cannot get IIT
