Worried about results,right! I hope that your paper went well.This year,IIT Rourkee had set a tougher paper when compared to last year,I believe. And I tried checking the expected cutoffs,and this is what I found:
GENERAL- 80-83
OBC- 74-76
SC ST - 40-44
Note these are expected data

The college accepting jee advanced ranks are IITs, IISERs and IISC. The closing rank for these colleges are very high. If you just qualify advanced than it is of no use. No lower college accept jee advanced score.

According to me for your 158 marks in jee advanced, your rank will be in top 10000. If the paper was too tough then your rank will be in top 5000.
You may get some branch in some IITs. All the best for your future.

Like evey year, JEE ADVANCED was conducted in two phases comprising of Paper I and Paper II each having 186 marks each
The questions asked followed the following pattern:
One or More Than One Correct
Numerical Value(answer upto 2 decimal places)/ Single Digit Answer(0-9)

Anything around 5000 rank in Jee Advanced is considered safer to get into IIT. You may also get a seat with around 6k rank but then the chances would be 50-50 and also you may get some lower branch. It is better to keep around 5k.

According to the notification one have to clear each and every subject to clear jee advance . If you cannot make it out in one subject even in one of the two papers you are disqualified from jee advance . Infact this is the case what make JEE

Both VMC and Narayana are premier IIT coaching institutes in India. The study material of VMC is better than Narayana but this does not matter to you. So as per coaching, I have friends in both VMC and Narayana and based on their experience I think VMC's teachers

Dear aspirant, you may get nit but not good nits. You will get lower branches like biomedical, chemical etc. You can get nit Bhopal, Durgapur, sikkim, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland. You can also go for gftis. You have a chance of getting good branch in assam university.
Firstly congratualtions brother for your splendid performance in JEE mains.
With your scorecard, you can easily get a seat at an old IIT
Though it would be easier for me to decide, if you ad told your prefered branch.
So, I would recommend you to wait for the official rank
