Hello there,
With a rank of 2.7k you will get admission in IIT colleges with branches such as electrical, mechanical and others. You can also get admission in good NIT colleges using for jee main rank. If it says you are qualified you can take admission in NIT colleges.

one gets a seat in a round by his category but in later rounds his crl becomes enough to get the seat,so will category seat be left vacant?

Well let me tell you an interesting fact. If a reserved candidate can get a seat by his/her crl then he/she is considered as a general candidate and given the seat. But most of the times candidates fill a higher institute where they would not normally get a seat using

Yes with a rank of 1415 in preparatory rank in jee advanced you can get top IIT colleges. If you want CSE you need to have a rank with 400-600. You can choose other branches in top IIT colleges. The final rank list will be released shortly. There

Hello Rajesh,
Preparatory rank is the approximate rank calculated based among all the students. The final rank list will be given after the preparatory rank list is considered. If any changes in the rank are done they will be given in the final merit list which will be released later.

As per your rank you can expect any IIIT's or GFTIs most probably. I suggest you to go for counselling and wait for the last round of counselling . If fortune favours you might be able to get a good branch in good college.

The address mentioned in my obc ncl certificate is different from the address mentioned in jee advanced form. Will it create any problem?

The answer to your query is yes. There might be a problem if your current address is different from the address mentioned in OBC-NCL certificate. You are required to issue a new OBC-NCL certificate with the current address to be mentioned or it may create some issues
