The cutoff rank for the IIT ropar is

  1. For computer science it's 709 - 969.
  2. For mechanical engineering it's 1977.
  3. For electrical engineering it's 1200-2347.
  4. For civil engineering it's 1129 to 1529.

The cut offs and reservation keep on changing from year to year depending upon various factors such as intake capacity, complexity of paper, number of students applied for the college etc. It is suggested you go on official site of the NTA/college to dig the useful information from its website

I am not able to tell you the exact cutoff marks required to enter IIT Ropar through JEE Advanced Exam.

yes, you may appear in both sessions of jee main, and which ever session marks will be good your counselling will be done on that particular score. so if you study hard and work on your weak areas you can surely achieve high score in jee main april session.
