Your general category cutoff will not be cleared as taking reference of last year cutoff scenario, with 71 percentile you can go for state level colleges taking admission based on JEE MAIN Score.

To be honest,  its difficult to predict the actual rank or JEE advanced qualifying marks. Neverthless, you may calculate your expected rank by this formula

You have not mentioned the category you belong to dear , cut off varies with the category.


If you belong to ,
  • General category then with 79.5 percentile you may not qualify the cut off percentile to be eligible for jee advance with 79.5 percentile .

As per past year trends , yes you may qualify the cut off percentile to be eligible for jee advance with 82 percentile provided  you belong to obc category.
