If we talk about the eligibility criteria for jee advanced,,

  1. U should pass 12

U should clear jeemain exam (irrespective of percentile)

I think for those who have passed 12th this year the 75% in 12th is not mandatory to qualify for jee adv.

Hey there

There are only two attempts in consecutive years are allowed in JEE advanced and three attempts in JEE mains are allowed. seeing your case you are not eligible for JEE advanced but you are eligible to take admission through jee mains score.

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category etc. how every nits has 85% seats are reserve for domicile candidates. at this score you have fair chances in tier 1 engineering colleges . the

You belong to SC category and qualifying cutoff of JEE mains to be eligible for JEE advanced for SC category is 50.1760245 percentile and you have got 54 percentile, so you advance are definitely eligible for JEE advanced

Only a few centers has been removed from the earlier lists Ambala, Panipat, Madgaon, Bhuj rest are the same for this year JEE advanced like for uttar pradesh muzaffarnagar, faridabad etc.

NTA has released cut offs 2020 for qualifying Jee main and who can appear for jee advanced.

As you are from EWS category. Your percentile is 75.71. you are qualified for appearing in jee advanced. Cut off for EWS category is 70.2435518.

accidentally the person who was filling my jee mains application form has filled my category as General and I am General EWS and today When I saw my result then I noticed that my category is General what Can I do now so that my councilling and application for jee advanced should be done as per EWS?

well there is nothing to do much in this case . after results you cannot change your category.you will be treated as a general category candidate .however there is not much difference in general and ews category ranking ,so you can get admissions if you got good jee
