yes it is acceptable. If you apply for IIT campus located in your domicile state the you will go under home state quota else you will go under open category.

why should all Jee advanced toppers choose IIT Bombay to learn CSE . Why dont they will not take IIT Madras ? IIT Madras is in 1 NRIF ranking but why should they are joining in Bombay ?
