As per the information the Minimum eligibility criteria for NITS,IIITS,GFTIS and IITS in class 12th was to secure 75% but seeing the current situation and this pandemic the govt removed this minimum eligibility criteria was removed only for the students who took their boards class 12th this year

According to your rank and category , you can get many new iit's like ropar , gandhinagar , palakkad , tirupati , bhilai etc in good core streams . Apart from these you can take some lower branches in iit bhu and dhanbad and other iit's .

Since there's been a change in regulations for admissions in NITs and IITs by CSAB the minimum percentage required rules are different. You just need passing marks now to be eligible for admission in NITs or IITs along with you jee rankings ofcourse. So, the minimum requirements are

In 2021 , To be eligible for NITs, IITs one needs at least  75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least  65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or  must be in the top 20 percentile in  class 12 examination.

See , NIT , iiit  are allotted based on your jee mains rank , and iit's are alloted based on your jee advanced rank . So based on your jee advance rank you can get many good iit .

As according to your rank and category,your rank will be between 3 -4k.

As  years cutoff, with your above mentioned percentile and category in JEE Mains, you will be eligible for a seat in IITs:

  • IIT Varanasi.
  • IIT Roorkee
  • IIT Kharagpur
