You can give Joint Entrance Examination Mains and Advanced but you are not eligible for admissions in NITs and IITs as the eligible criteria states that only candidates with 75% aggerate in 10+2 level are eligible for admissions in NITs and IITs. This criteria was pulled down for the

Hi.

There is no such criteria for students taking a gap year.

The only condition is " a candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2020 or 2021, subject to the condition of not having been admitted at an IIT

This seems like a follow-up query. Please answer follow questions: When did you pass your Class 12th examination? If it was 2019 or 2020 then you are eligible to for registration in JEE Mains 2021.

And yes you are not allowed to give JEE Advanced for year 2021 because

Greetings,

there is a minimum eligibility criteria of 75% or top 20 percentile for general category and 65% for reserved category in your respective board exams in order to appear for JEE mains and advanced.
