Can I get admission on IIST for MS astronomy and astrophysics through jee advance?

Hello,

Yes, you can get admission on IIST for MS Astronomy and Astrophysics through JEE advance.

JEE advance is needed for UG and dual degree courses. The candidates have to score the published cut-off to apply for IIST.

For otherstate or homestate for only oc category crl is considered,for other categories like obc,ews,sc,st category ranks are considered for giving the admission into nits.

ADMISSION PROCESS :-

Admission in IIT is on the basis of JEE advanced examination.

To be eligible for JEE advanced you need to clear JEE Mains examination first.

So for getting admission in IIT or joining IITs you need to clear JEE main first and then JEE advanced ,

There are no such marks data available online. But in 2019, the cutoff for Aerospace Engineering at IIT MADRAS was 1471 for OBC and 3356 for OBC girls.
