Hello student yes you can get admission in Sastra University without appearing in jee main. As sastra University offer admission of 30 percent of their total seats for B.tech through Class 12 marks and rest 70 percent of seats are through Jee main entrance examination.

I have got my ews certificate in January 2021 and uploaded it for my jee mains exams , But in the information brochure of jee advanced releases on june 25 on jeeadv.nic It is mentioned that ews certificates issued on or after april 01 2021 are only valid.Should i get a new ews certificate now?

Hey,

Generally, an EWS Certificate is valid only for one financial year i.e. up to April. So, whether you got your EWS Certificate in January, it will not for considered for admission. You need to make a fresh EWS Certificate as it is clearly mentioned in information brochure of JEE
