Hello there

hope you are doing well

I would like to clear you if a candidate has not register for the PWD quota then they would generally not be eligible for PWD reservations, even if their vision meets the criteria.

admission will overall depend on the JEE rank.

i completed class 12th in 2023 and didnt qualify for jeeadvanced that year due to low jee main percentile .i took a year off and qualified for jee advanced 2024 but scored poorly ,can i attempt jeeadvanced again in 2025 after jeemain .some saying only 2 attempts allowed counting from class 12th year

Ishita 1st Sep, 2024

Hello Aspirant

As you mentioned you have already made two attempts at JEE Mains and one attempt at JEE Advanced.

According to the guidelines issued by the body that conducts the JEE exams, 6 attempts of JEE Mains are allowed, and 2 attempts of JEE Advanced. Since you have only given JEE Advanced one time, you can still appear for JEE Advanced one more time.

Prepare well for the last attempt. All the best!

I will give my 12th improvement exams in 2019. Will I be eligible to give IIT JEE 2019? Question

kumardurgesh1802 17th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

To be eligible for the IIT JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) in 2019, candidates typically need to meet certain criteria set by the conducting body, which include academic qualifications. As per the eligibility requirements for JEE Main and JEE Advanced:

  1. Educational Qualification : Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects.

  2. Year of Appearance : If you gave your 12th improvement exams in 2019, you would still be eligible to appear for JEE 2019 as long as you meet the educational qualifications. The improvement examination allows candidates to enhance their scores from previous attempts.

  3. Age Limit : There are also age criteria, usually set at a maximum age limit for the candidates, which varies slightly depending on the specific IIT or the entrance exam year.

It's essential to check the specific notification for JEE 2019 for any updates or changes in eligibility criteria. For detailed eligibility requirements and other related information, refer to the official JEE website or the National Testing Agency (NTA) guidelines for that year.

I get advance 155marks 2024 how much rank in Air

kumardurgesh1802 27th Sep, 2024

Hello Mano,

With 155 marks in JEE Advanced 2024 , your All India Rank (AIR) could fall approximately between 8,000 to 12,000 . However, this is just an estimate based on previous years' data and the actual rank may vary depending on the exam difficulty, competition, and overall performance of the candidates in 2024.

Ranks fluctuate each year, so it's important to wait for the official results and rank list for a more accurate position.

what rank will I get for 84 marks in jee advanced

Satvik 12th Oct, 2024

Hi

hope you doing well

The rank you can expect for 84 marks in JEE Advanced can vary significantly from year to year based on several factors, including:

  • Difficulty Level of the Exam : Each year's paper can differ in difficulty, affecting overall performance.
  • Total Number of Candidates : The number of candidates appearing for the exam also impacts the ranking.
  • Normalization Process : JEE Advanced uses a normalization process to calculate the final scores.

Generally, 84 marks in JEE Advanced can roughly correlate to a rank between 15,000 to 30,000. However, this is a broad estimate and should be taken with caution.

I got 84 marks in jee advanced 2024 and I am reserved with OBC category can I get any iit

kumardurgesh1802 17th Sep, 2024

Hello Student,

With 84 marks in JEE Advanced 2024 and being in the OBC category , gaining admission to an IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) may be challenging but not impossible, depending on the specific IIT and branch.

Factors to Consider:

  1. Cutoffs for IITs:

    • Top IITs like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIT Madras generally have higher cutoffs for their branches.

    • Lower-ranked IITs or newer IITs might have lower cutoffs, increasing your chances.

  2. Branch Options:

    • With 84 marks, you may have a better chance in branches that are less competitive, such as some of the newer IITs or less sought-after branches in established IITs.

      Recommendations:

  3. Check Previous Cutoffs: Look at the cutoffs from previous years for IITs and various branches to gauge where your marks might fit.

  4. Participate in Counseling: Actively participate in the counseling process to explore all available options.

While it may be challenging to secure a seat in top IITs, you may have a chance in newer or less competitive IITs and branches. Checking previous years' cutoffs and participating actively in counseling will be crucial for exploring available options.

why iist placement offers very poor package and low placement in spite of admission based on JEE Advanced?

Tanya Gupta 5th Jun, 2024

Hello,

Despite these factors, the landscape for IIST graduates is evolving. With the growing interest and investment in the private space sector in India and globally, more opportunities might become available, potentially improving placement statistics and salary packages over time. The specialized knowledge and skills acquired at IIST are highly valued in certain sectors, and as these sectors expand, the demand for IIST graduates is likely to increase.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

I secured 106 marks in jee advance. I am OBC-ncl. What could be my rank and is there any chance of getting into any IITs.

Satvik 28th Sep, 2024

Hi

hope you are doing well

While having a score of 106 marks in jee advance your estimated rank would likely fall between 12,000 and 15,000 in the Common Rank List (CRL), while your OBC-NCL rank might be around 3,000 to 4,500, depending on the difficulty of the paper and the overall performance of other candidates.

it might be difficult to get core branches like CSE, ECE, or Mechanical Engineering at top IITs. However, you may have a chance of getting into newer IITs in branches like Metallurgical, Chemical, Civil, or even lower-demand courses like Biotechnology in some IITs.

To increase your chances, I recommend considering these IITs:

  1. IIT Bhubaneswar
  2. IIT Ropar
  3. IIT Mandi
  4. IIT Jodhpur
  5. IIT Tirupati
  6. IIT Jammu
  7. IIT Dhanbad
