I have attempted JEE Main 2021 exam but i couldnt qualified it.if i take 1 year drop and then i pass JEE Main exam will JEE Advanced allow me to attempt exam in 2022 for the first time?pls ans.

Actually, whether you will be eligible for jee advanced 2022 or not depends upon your 12t board appearing year.

As per your profile,

I am assuming that your 12th appearing year is 2021.

NTA does not declare marks,It declares only percentile.so NTA score is nothing but percentile.so your percentile is 99.61  with marks somewhere between 181-190

99.61 percentile would fetch you a rank around 3990-4485

The JEE Main 2021 session 4 will be held on August 26, 27, 31, and September 1 & 2, 2021 . After that only, a list of qualifying candidates will be released. So this year's list has not been prepared yet.

See if you qualify JEE-Main 2023 with the qualifying cut-off percentiles as released at that time then you will be able to sit for JEE-Advance in same year i.e. in 2023. So you will be able to sit for JEE-Advance 2023, provided that you follow other eligibility criterion

Your obc category rank is good but even though you belong to Tamil Nadu still the home state qouta won't be enough to get you the cse branch. You can get other branches but getting cse is quite difficult.

Hi there,

No it's not like that you can get college based on jee mains score after giving the jee advance paper too.

For getting a college based on jee mains score you have to do the josaa counseling at your jee mains rank.

You are eligible to write JEE Mains only for 3 consequtive years including the year of passing your class 12th. Also, you are eligible to write JEE Advanced only for 2 consequtive years after your class 12th including the year of passing your class 12th.
