48,400 per year is fees for UG programme like Btech at IISt Thiruvanthapuram and also charges approximately 13400rs as Caution deposit which is one time. Hence this comes around as total of 2.07 lakhs total fee all inclusive for 4year duration

No. For the admission to IIST, you have to qualify JEE Advanced. IIST do not conduct any entrance exam. It offers admission to the eligible candidates on the basis of JEE Advanced score only. To know more details about the admission process, read IIST B.Tech Admission 2019

As of now, IITs Council have rejected the proposal proposed by IIT Directors & chairperson at the IIT Council Meeting. So, till now JEE Advance will take place in the same manner it has.
