So Admission to IIITs and NITs will be based on the basis of Rank you have obtained in JEE MAIN 2019 which is dependent on your Percentile which is dependent on your Marks.
So its all inter related.

if i appear in JEE MAIN 2 can i apply for JEE ADV as for btech?

You can't apply for jee advance with jee mains paper 2(b.arch).

If you want to join in iit and do b.arch then you need to clear jee mains paper 1 and then apply for jee advance.

with that marks in jee advance you will alloted seat as per

No it is not possible as JEE advance eligibility criteria includes a minimum required marks termed as cutoff to be scored by the candidates applying for advance

Well, it's very difficult as of now,to predict the cutoff for JEE mains paper 2 based on percentile.You can first calculate your rank by rank=(100-percentile)*145386/100.With this rank,you can compare previous year's cutoff for different colleges and can predict some of the colleges you may be getting.But remember this

NTA will release the cutoffs in April so right now we can't predict whether you are eligible but as per the past trends and our experts candidates having percentile above 85 are supposed to be qualified for advance.

So please wait till then and hope for the best.

86.9 percentile is not enough for nit trichy.

And also you may qualify or not it is also a doubt.So lets wait for the results .

You should start preparing for the next attempt and score atleast 99.5 percentile for NIT trichy.( May vary de pending upon other

Hello Avntika,

Congrats for scoring 83 percentile.

The minimum aggregated marks for general PWD catagory in JEE mains should be 45 i.e you atleast need 45 marks in order to appear in JEE advance.

Hi IIT aspirant , As the qualifying percentile for Jee mains this year is 50percentile so your percentile is more than that of 50percentile so you can definetly write Jee Advanced exam , as your score is not up to the mark in jee mains so try to score better
