My daughter has scored 89.05 percentile in Jan 2019 IIT JEE Mains exams. What is the chance of qualifying for Advanced 2019?

Hello aspirant. 

U see the cutoff for qualifying advance is about 70 to 75%. This is just an estimate but mostly the cutoff is in this range so therefore i think your daughter is indeed eligible for advance as she has scored 89 percentile.

For jee mains april exam the registration process will begin in the month of february and after the all india ranks are announced the registration for jee advanced will begin.

Hello Ankit

To apply for JEE advance in 2019 you should first crack JEE mains 2019 then only you will be able to quaify for JEE advance.

There are some eligibility criteria for JEE mains 2019

  • Candidates must have passed class XII or qualifying exam in 2017 or 2018.

What will be the exam pattern for jee advanced 2019?

The computer-based exam consists of 2 papers- paper 1 and paper 2 of 3 hours duration each. Both the papers are compulsory. There is no fixed pattern of the exam. The number of questions in JEE advanced is not fixed. They vary every year. So, maximum marks cannot be defined.

We can't say that you are qualified or not because NTA has not released any Cutt off marks or rank list to say that you are qualified or not .NTA will display this list after the second attempt in april.
