You have to secure atleast 85 percentile marks ( may be more depending upon exact statistics).
But it is not all about qualifying ; jee advanced is a good level exam and if you are prepared for it than you must do good in jee mains also.

If you qualify JEE mains April securing top 224000 rank then only you can appear for JEE advanced.
As you said that you have not qualified JEE mains January but I would definitely suggest you to check out the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria factors before applying the form

Each question carries two marks. There is no negative marking. Answers are to be marked using blue / black ball point only on the OMR answer sheet.
