You can surely apply to IPU for B.Tech.

This is the first time when IPU is taking admissions on the basis of JEE Mains. So we don't know how it's going to unfold. We don't have any previous year data regarding this to predict

Hi dear,

If you belong from sc or st category then you have no problem but if you belong from general or obc category you must have under top 20 percentile which will release by your board.Aaccording to last year trend you are in a safe zone.

It can not be exactly predicted that you will qualify or not because still April exam is pending and result will be declared after April results.

Nearly 2.2 lakhs students will qualify for jee advanced ; so cut offs will depend upon other students also.

As per the available information till ; nearly 10-11 thousand student from this category will qualify for advanced and total of 2.2 lakhs students will qualify.

Dear Abety, the JEE Mains Correction window was your only chance to change your category to EWS from General Category. If you missed the opportunity then, you cannot make any changes to your category in JEE Advanced. Because the merit list will be prepared on the basis of category that

Well, since JEE advanced their is fix total marks so instead of number of marks the percentage of marks would be a better assumption

according to the past cut off

You have to score around 30% to be eligible for any of the branch offered by IIST thir.
