Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
Hello,
Nevertheless, there are numerous PSU businesses where graduates in biotechnology might get employment. However, as far as I'm aware, not all of them hire based on GATE rank. I've just mentioned three such businesses that hire GATE qualified candidates.
Thank You
Hi, You can get admission in most of the IITs with a rank under 500 for PhD in Physics. So IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Bombay and other older IITs are some of the best institutions for your course. For rank vs marks comparison of GATE follow this link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gate-marks-vs-rank Hope this was of some help!
Hello aspirant
As your profile says you are an engineering aspirant, go for GATE preparation over JEE mains because you didn't achieve a good rank according to your expectations, it is the best time to start your GATE preparation. GATE scores are valid for various job opportunities as well as you can go for master's in top government colleges based on your GATE scores.
Hope this will help you.
Dear Student,
IIT-JAM merit is used to determine admission to NIT's M.Sc. Physics programme. You must therefore show up for IIT-JAM. You must have studied Physics and Mathematics for two years or two semesters in the prerequisite examination, which is a bachelor's degree from a recognised board, in order to be eligible for admission to the M.Sc. Physics programme. If you fall under the general category, your qualifying exam result must be at least 55% overall or a CGPA of 5.5 on a scale of 10. You must receive at least 50% overall or a 5.0 cumulative grade point average on a scale of 1 to 10 from a recognised board if you are a member of the SC, ST, or PWD.
Hello Aspirant,
It's not the best option for you if you want to work for a PSU, but you can certainly apply if you want to enrol in a master's programme in technology at an IIT or NIT. If your degree meets the eligibility requirements, such as having a degree in mechanical engineering and taking the GATE XE exam, you'll be excellently qualified for an M.Tech in the aforementioned discipline. However, many older IITs, such as the IITKGP and IITK, have courses like material, cryogenic, aerospace, etc. that permit XE paper qualified candidates to take participation in the admission process at par with the most competitive gate papers, like ME and CH.
You might be surprised to learn that a candidate with a degree in mechanical engineering and a GATE score in the ME paper would have difficulty enrolling in the courses because XE has less competition than ME does, and there are seats allocated for each combination of degree and GATE score in the interdisciplinary courses mentioned above and many others. Therefore, it would be relatively simpler for a candidate with a degree in mechanical engineering and a GATE paper in XE to enrol in those courses. Consult the iitkgp brochure for m.tech. admission from last year for a better understanding and idea.
Wishing you luck
Hello aspirant!
Hope you are doing well.
You are not eligible to write GATE exam until you clear all your backlogs. Since you are in 3rd year, you still have time to clear your backlogs and you can appear for GATE exam after that.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Hello ,No backlogs don't have any effect regarding GATE examination. As the eligibility criteria for GATE exam is if you are present in your third year , fourth year or passed out of your engineering degree. But you need to clear your backlogs to get the degree.
Hope it helps. Thank you.
hello dear !
